After a very testing 6 race series so far, Mike Senior and Graham Nelson, the defending champions, hold a slender 1 point lead over Richard Estaugh and Simon Potts. Only a further point behind are young stars in the making Matt Mee and Chris Robinson, who already have two race wins to their name and can still claim the title.
With 2 possible races to be held on Friday and the possibility of the 2nd discard kicking in if 8 races are held then whilst the three pairs above hold the upper hand a number of crews are still able to win the title.
An exciting day is likely to be had tomorrow, with calculators probably being taken out on the boats, just in case we can sail two races.
