Ian Sinclair, Championship Chairman, has the following message for Worlds competitors:

"A hundred and twenty-four entries for the Worlds have been received at our Crewe office by the beginning of March, another milestone in our championship history. Never before in the history of the Association have we been in this enviable position of having such a large entry with over six months to go before our World Championship begins.

I would like to thank all of you who have responded to the article in the winter Mainsail, my request for help with your early entries. I can't tell you how much easier early entries make the Championship Committee's job, to give you the championship you dream about.

Those of you who are still thinking about entering, please make your decision quickly. If you haven't done it yet, "just do it!"

Bronze and Silver fleet sailors are dominating the entry list so far, well done! I hope you all get away as quickly at the start of the World Championship."
