Practice race

The practice race finally got underway today after two aborted starts in a force 4 northerly breeze. 71 boats finished the race, which was shortened at the leeward mark at the end of the second reach. Fleet newcomer Jim Hunt, sailing with Graham Nelson won the race, followed by Neil Hardie and Nikolai Metherell in second and Andy Hateley and Andy Thompson in third.

Two races are scheduled for tomorrow, the day's sailing being sponsored by Crewsaver.
