A night to remember!

A superb championship was rounded off in style last night by the assembled masses in the marquee at SCYC. Tim Hemsley ran a slick prize-giving ceremony, the highlight of which was Neil Marsden's champagne-soaked acceptance speech/dance!

This week has seen simply perfect weather and great racing throughout the fleet in one of the World's best sailing venues. To record an entry of over 170 boats is a staggering achievement, and every single competitor should be congratulated for this. The potential quality of the racing did not escape the attention of star sailors from other fleets such as Roger Gilbert and Jim Hunt, who made the effort to come to Abersoch, and in doing so made it a richer event.
